Bowsprit of a windjammer at Waddenhaven Texel in Oudeschild Netherlands

This piece of ship’s wood was loosened from the seabed in 2004 and was washed onto the Razende Bol sandbank.
It weighs three tons, is thirteen meters long and has a diameter of fifty centimeters. It was the bowsprit of a nineteenth century sailing ship.
The ship probably had a length of 70-80 meters.
